Game Overview
As a man or woman stranded, naked, freezing, and starving on the unforgiving shores of a mysterious island called “ARK“, use your skill and cunning to kill or tame and ride the plethora of leviathan dinosaurs and other primeval creatures roaming the land.
Hunt, harvest resources, craft items, grow crops, research technologies, and build shelters to withstand the elements and store valuables, all while teaming up with (or preying upon) hundreds of other players to survive, dominate… and escape!
The World Of ARK
Tame, Train, and Ride Dinosaurs in a living ecosystem! There are over 100+ different creatures, the vast majority of which can be tamed and ridden.
After taming, pets will gradually level-up through their own individual experience points, consume food, defecate, and breed. Level up your pets’ stats to allow them to move faster, carry more, hit harder, etc.
Fly a Pteranodon over the snow-capped mountains, carry allies over enemy walls, race through the jungle with a pack of Raptors, stomp through an enemy base aboard a gigantic Brontosaurus, or chase down prey on the back of a raging Tyrannosaurus! In the world of ARK you are just one creature among many struggling for dominance and survival.

Project Overview
Working with the developers we helped create and build both a community site and a wiki for the game. We were able to extract the numbers & hard data and with it create guides, and resources for the players.
Additionally we created a majority of the graphics and images used throughout the site, promoting with info-graphics on social media sites. Together with the data, guides and graphics we worked to provide the both the Official Wiki Mobile App and the a Taming Calculator, which are both on the top 100 reference apps in the play app store.
Content Creation
As official partners with the developers, we provided a large scale outlet for the community, contributing in-depth dinosaur taming guides, dino dossiers, game interactions, building projects, character stat sheets, data on items, detailed material on locations and more.
Community Growth
Once we provided the extensive backbone, we opened it to the community to get involved, engaged and on board; providing their own unique resources on interactions, some of which has been included for players in the game.
UX / UI
In addition we designed layouts, templates and patterns which made for a smooth and polished interface and user experience, making it simple for navigation and interaction around the massive database of content.

Project Stats
On release the site was a complete hit. With viral marketing, community outreach and by analyzing the data, insights and actionable pages we were able to provide and adapt marketable responses and reactions growing it to become one of the top 1000 most visited web sites of 2016-2017.
Through observation, evaluation and design our efforts at promoting the site and both apps have grown to over a billion unique page views, three million app downloads, with overwhelmingly positive reviews, becoming a natural phenomenon.
